GREETINGSWelcome!

I have been involved in dyeing kimonos for over 50 years. In 1999, we opened the Dyeing Studio where you can try dyeing with a bucket using our skills. Many visitors have come from all over Japan and abroad. We have been featured in various media such as newspapers, radio, magazines, TV broadcasts, and internet broadcasts. We are committed to making our store a place where customer satisfaction is our top priority. Please come and visit our Studio.

Roketsu Dyeing experience

This is a dyeing studio where you can dye the fabric you draw with a wax brush by yourself. Wearing the boots, apron, and gloves provided at the workshop, you can experience the real dyeing process. Please enjoy the process of dyeing the white fabric.

Drop Wax

This is the space for de-waxing, where the wax is removed from the fabric dyed by the customer. This process is done by our craftsmen as it requires quick dewaxing in boiling water. Please enjoy the changes as the wax is removed from the dyed fabric.

Dry product

This is a space where you can dry your de-waxed fabric using an iron. You can take your work home on the same day after it has been ironed and dried in the high-speed dehydrator. However, T-shirts, tote bags, and other items that will stretch or become shiny if ironed will be handed in after being wrung out in the high-speed dehydrator. Please dry them naturally after you return to your lodgings or home.
